Operation Christmas Child

A global pandemic isn’t stopping Operation Christmas Child from delivering gift-filled shoeboxes to boys and girls in the far corners of the world. Children need hope now more than ever in such uncertain times, and these tangible expressions of God’s love can be a great encouragement. Most important, children need to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ! Over 178 million children in more than 150 countries have received an OCC shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love. Tens of thousands of volunteers from local churches around the world partner to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ at festive outreach events where children are surprised with these shoebox gifts. HOPE Community Church individuals and families have enthusiastically participated in OCC year after year, and 2020 is no exception!

Here's how YOU can participate now:

  1. Pick up a free OCC box (or more!) at HOPE Mon-Thurs, Nov 2-5 or Nov 9-12, anytime between 10 AM - 4 PM. Super quick & easy: just pull in front drive, stop at side door with OCC sign, and grab what you need right inside the doorway!

  2. OR build a box online if you cannot pick up a box or go to the store to fill a box.

  3. OR give online directly to Operation Christmas Child.

Drop off any boxes you fill (with your own $9 shipping donation enclosed per box) at HOPE Mon-Thurs, Nov 16-19, between 10 AM - 4 PM or Sunday, Nov 22, between 1-3 PM.

Again, quick & easy: drop off inside same doorway where you first picked up supplies. (HOPE will then deliver all boxes to a regional collection center.)
