Operation Christmas Child

OCC-shoeboxes2018.jpg

A global pandemic isn’t stopping Operation Christmas Child from delivering gift-filled shoeboxes to boys and girls in the far corners of the world. Children need hope now more than ever in such uncertain times, and these tangible expressions of God’s love can be a great encouragement. Most important, children need to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ! Over 178 million children in more than 150 countries have received an OCC shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love. Tens of thousands of volunteers from local churches around the world partner to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ at festive outreach events where children are surprised with these shoebox gifts. HOPE Community Church individuals and families have enthusiastically participated in OCC year after year, and 2021 is no exception!

Here's how YOU can participate now:

  1. Pick up a free OCC box (or more!) at HOPE over the next couple Sundays to pack.

  2. Fill the box with toys, supplies, and cards.

  3. Be sure to mark whether for a boy or girl and the age group.

  4. Be sure to enclose a check made payable to Operation Christmas Child.

  5. Drop off to HOPE lobby no later than Sunday, Nov 21.
