Children

Every Sunday, children (currently, babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand.

We'd LOVE to see you and your family visit HCC Kids this Sunday. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

NURSERY

Personal nurture for your child is our top priority.  Parents with children 6 weeks and up can take comfort knowing their infants are receiving exceptional, loving care in our nursery while they enjoy worship on Sunday mornings.  Our Nursery opens at 10:15AM, currently adjoined with our 2s-3s program.

We also have a Parent-Child Room just outside our auditorium, as well as a separate Nursing Area for moms. Both spaces are equipped with video & audio live feed of the worship service. Ask at Guest Services about these areas and we will gladly help you.

TWOS & THREES (TODDLER ROOM)

Children ages 2 - 3 yrs enjoy Bible learning, activity, play, and relationships designed just for their age level. Your toddler will hear Bible stories, sing worship songs, and learn to pray to God.

At HOPE, we believe no one is too young to learn and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. Our 2s-3s program opens at 10:15AM, currently adjoined with our Nursery.

Main StREET KIDS LIVE (4yrs - 5th Grade)

Main Street Kids LIVE is for kids age 4 up to 5th grade. Each week is jam packed with fun! From high-energy worship & interactive Bible-teaching in Large Group Time to fun games and activities with Small Group Leaders, your kids will enjoy every minute of their experience with us.

Children in Main Street Kids LIVE begin in the auditorium for a time of worship with their families. Approximately mid-service (during our 'Next Steps' segment), kids are dismissed to our lobby where they meet their Group Leaders and head down to the Main Street Kids LIVE Theater. Parents pick up their kids downstairs after the worship service using our secure child name tag receipt system (see check-in below).

SAFE & SECURE CHECK-IN

Our check-in system is designed to keep your kids safe and secure. Our Main Lobby has check-in iPads to quickly & easily check your child(ren) into HCC Kids, print name tags, and accompanying 'parent receipt' you'll need to hang onto for pick-up of your child after the worship service.

Parent - child dedication

At HOPE, parents have the opportunity to make a personal step of dedicating their children to Jesus. This is fundamentally different from baptism. If you are interested in the personal commitment of Parent-Child Dedication, download a short explanation and/or apply online now.

Health, safety, & security guidelines

  • Parents are responsible to keep their child(ren) home if any symptoms, fever, or other common signs of illness have been recently present.

  • Parents MUST check in their child(ren) in HOPE main lobby at an iPad station and use the printed name tag  before any child is permitted into a room/group.

  • Our facility is professionally cleaned weekly by a company using current industry best practices.

  • Each room is supplied with sanitizing wipes, cleaning supplies, and hand sanitizer dispensers. Group leaders & assistants will use these supplies as needed.

  • Please provide your own baby care supplies (diapers, wipes, etc.) to the group leader when dropping off your child.

  • HOPE provides pager-buzzers to parents at child drop-off (in our youngest age rooms) which will notify you if you must come down to attend your child. Please keep the pager-buzzer on your person for the duration of the worship service, and be sure to return it when picking up your child.

  • We will monitor room capacities.

  • We do not require masks at our Sunday services or HCC Kids programs. Masks are still welcome, of course. We choose to leave it up to the individual or family to personally practice what's appropriate & comfortable for them. This applies to adults, children, and people staffing the various ministries. HOPE abides by CDC and NJ State officially released guidelines/orders.

  • We ask families to promptly inform HOPE Office Staff (call 856-235-8077) if their child tested positive for Covid and that child attended HCC Kids. This enables us to properly notify  families of other children in attendance (without revealing names) by use of our check-in records for that date & group.
