ONLINE SERVICES ONLY
3/15, 3/22, & 3/29

Hello HOPE family & friends,
This afternoon, HOPE Elder team decided to exercise abundance of precaution for all (prudence, not panic) and switch entirely to ONLINE WORSHIP SERVICES for March 15, 22, and 29 at 10:30 AM. We believe this is a smart decision easily within our ability to make in loving, protective, and practical consideration of the broader HOPE family.
We ask everyone to join us online for a shorter and different format worship service! We thank the Lord for technology HOPE already uses weekly this way. Please participate in the comfort of your home March 15 & 22 as we experience church together online -- updates, worship, teaching, and giving online.
With continued spread of Coronavirus (officially declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization, plus NJ State bulletin today strongly recommending gatherings of 250+ be canceled), let's share worship & community by ONLINE CHURCH for the next two Sundays, and then recommunicate with all (after 3/22) concerning March 29 and following. We'll know more then as info develops.
Simply use your computer or phone to join our service live-streamed 10:30 AM at this direct link.
We'll see you ONLINE SUNDAY!
While this is a difficult time with so much information (both good AND bad) and and its rapid development, let me encourage you to keep your eyes and heart focused on Christ Jesus. Remember:
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
[Jesus said,] "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)
. . . Creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly . . . (Romans 8:21-23)
Looking to Jesus for all wisdom, strength, and mercy,
Andrew
P.S. We also want to address some additional questions you may have:
Q: Has anyone at HOPE tested positive for Coronavirus?
A: Yes and we have updated updated everyone by email in our master database with the appropriate infirmation.
Q: What about HOPE Groups? Should we still meet?
A: While we are canceling HOPE U (3/15 & 22) and JumpStart (3/15), we suggest HOPE Groups (adults & middle/high school) meet online at least for a couple of weeks. Please be in touch with your group leader if there will be a way to do so for your small group. In this digital age, you can connect in community, care, prayer, and fellowship, even at a distance! Feel free to use any tools of your choice, for example - Google Hangouts, GroupMe, What’sApp, Zoom, and more. Let’s be the church and keep supporting one another as family . . . online!
Q: How will HOPE update us?
A: We'll post all updates to our website, www.hope-ccm.org. We'll also post updates on our website, by email, HOPE eNews, and social media (Insta, FB, Twitter).
