Follow this introduction to the book of Ecclesiastes, written by the wisest man who has ever lived (according to the Bible), Solomon. His conclusion after living a life that he concludes is meaningless – apart from God – is found in this: "Fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person."

"For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil."

(Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)

Our lives are not in OUR control; ultimately, our lives are in God's hands. We need to live in light of God's will for our lives. Therefore, we shouldn't live like there is no tomorrow . . .  we should live as if it's already tomorrow . . . in light of His will.
