We have been truly blessed and are reminded in Colossians 3 and Ephesians 5 to be thankful in whatever and all circumstances to the glory of God the Father.
Colossians 3:16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. 17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Ephesians 5:19Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, 20always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
21Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Jesus prayed for the unity of the body of Christ in John 17. It is our hope that as we humble ourselves and submit to His will, we fulfill this prayer by living out these verses in unity as a church body.
