Q. What makes this church different from among all the others I pass by everyday in Moorestown, Mt. Laurel, Maple Shade, or Cinnaminson?
A. HOPE COMMUNITY CHURCH Moorestown is not perfect. That's probably the first thing you should know. We know people need answers to life's most important questions. But most people today are not on a truth-quest, they're on a happiness-quest. People are not necessarily seeking "friendly churches", they're seeking "friends." Everyone needs to experience meaningful relationships. And the best place to start is within a community that you feel accepted, respected, and cared about.
Church is not just a building. It's also not defined by what happens within the confines of one-hour or so on Sunday morning. Church is about people. Instead of just GOING to church, we want to BE the church: A living, breathing, movement of people who are committed to living out the truth and grace found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. For many of us who have experienced the dynamics of a worship service with others who are equally passionate about God, or participating in a small group that meets around coffee, great discussion and dynamic bible study, there is nothing else like it on earth.
We believe there is only one true way to God; and that is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). But we also believe there are many ways to Jesus. Each of us has a different story to share. We invite you to share your story with us.
