Our Vision
Our church's vision is to reach and lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
This vision reflects the heart of the Great Commission which is "... to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20a).
In order to make disciples of people … while teaching them, we must reach them first. In many of today's established churches, studies have shown that we're losing touch with the very people we're supposed to be reaching, including the next generation of Americans — baby-busters and the mosaics — who no longer see church or organized religion as having any relevancy in their lives.
Our hope and prayer is to change that perception and to reach those who are un-churched, un-interested, or feeling disenfranchised. We know that won't be easy. But we have to be focused on reaching those who do not regularly or consistently consider church attendance as being important.
Foyer / Living Room / Kitchen
Like the rooms in your home, our church is designed around environments that strategically engage people wherever they are on their spiritual journey. The Foyer environment is where people are our invited guests; the Living Room is where people become friends; and the Kitchen is where friends become family. An example of a Foyer environment is our Sunday Worship Service; whereas one of our Living Room environments is called AFTER which immediately follows our Worship Service where conversation is encouraged and connections are made. One of the best environments in which to experience authentic community (acountability, belonging, and care) and spiritual growth (intimacy with God, friendship with insiders, and influence with outsiders) is through HOPE GROUPS.
